The track/DJ/party that made me want to be a DJ was:
The whole communal energy and good vibes of all walks of people coming together and gettin down at the old warehouse parties in the early 90's was great and very inspiring! I was playing in bands at the time, but got really into DJing at friends' house partys and then clubs eventually. It was addicting and alot of fun! I never thought I would be doing this and creating music full-time, making a living on it. I just loved it!

Influences:
Everything from rock to funk, reggae, hip-hop, soul, and just about everything else, as well as people and places.

I got my first break:
Playing at little warehouse and house parties.

Some DJs I like playing with are:
There is alot of local talent and you gotta support that. Guys like Julius, Mo, Jay, Franky and many more.

Favorite thing about the SF scene:
Diversity and character. There’s alot of great DJs and support from the people, which keeps this city rocking all the time!

Least favorite thing about the SF scene:
Sound systems can always be better over all. I also wish the bars served later than just 2 am in California! We gotta get that changed somehow eventually, and it would be a whole new kick in the ass for the city. Some new outdoor venues and events would be great as well in the summer.

My favorite SF party is/was:
Love Garage and lift were rockin. Boat Parties and Groove Kitchen were alot of fun also!

My favorite Club to play in is:
I dont have just one favorite because it changes alot over time. Sir Henrys in Cork (Ireland) was completetly off the hook, but closed recently. La Terraza in Barcelona is great. The 'good vibrations' outdoor daytime festival tour in Australia is rockin! There are too many to name.

If I could put together MY dream music festival, the Entertainment would be:
The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix, Burning Spear, Prince, Steely Dan, Gangstarr, Tribe Called Quest, Zeppelin, the Cars, Sade, shit, I could go on for a very long time here on this one!

If I couldn't play records I would probably be a professional:
Recording Studio Junky, writing and creating music all the time. Oh wait, I already do! Definitely playing live in a band. I'm about to start a new one anyway!

I want to thank these people for helping me get this far:
All the music lovers and supporters worldwide...

What you want people to know and we didn't ask:
Keep it real!... Be a good person. There’s enough hate in this world!

My motto is:
"Keep it real!"
